Mountain Travel and Rescue program provides students with the knowledge and skills to travel in comfort and safety in an outdoor environment, assist in search and rescue efforts, either as a team member or as a leader, and plan and conduct a successful multi-day trip into a winter environment. Both the Basic and Advanced courses are taught in a classroom environment with outdoor applications and exercises. Offers hands-on experience in route finding, emergency bivouac, and problems that arise in search and rescue situations. Enjoy pictures from our 2018 trip to Lake Hope, no snow but a bit cold.
